Morse family trying to wring every dime out of residents

To the Editor:

I found out about the tree lighting in Sumter Landing. I agree with anyone who feels the Morse family is trying to get every dime it can from residents who moved here to enjoy the friendliest town!!! Soon they will call it “only for the Wealthy.”
I will gather friends over a light up my tree. $50 for 1 person!!! Yes, the old man is turning in his grave!!! Admission to tree lighting isn’t the only thing they are trying to get. Check on that independent living home up on County Road 466A – $2,500 a month for one bedroom. Crazy!
