To the Editor:
I just finished reading in today’s paper that Christmas trees are going up around the community today with decorating to start soon as well.
I like Christmas just as much as a lot of other folks but come on, day after Halloween. What ever happened to the more traditional day after Thanksgiving?
It seems to me that the holidays have become more and more about getting it out there first to draw in as much income as possible. How about we start fireworks in May each year to celebrate July 4. Now that sounds fun!
