A man was arrested with methamphetamine after a traffic stop last week near the Village of Fenney.
Jack Lee Morgan, 36, of Coleman, had been at the wheel of a car stopped for speeding at about 7 p.m. Wednesday on U.S. 301, according to an arrest report from the Wildwood Police Department. A K-9 alerted on the vehicle, indicating the likely presence of drugs. A search turned up multiple hypodermic needles and a plastic baggie containing .2 grams of methamphetamine. It was also determined that Morgan was driving on a suspended license.
He was taken into custody and booked on $3,500 bond at the Sumter County Detention Center.
