25-year-old Villages resident to answer to charges of violating her probation

A 25-year-old Villages resident has been transferred to the Lake County Jail to answer to charges of violating her probation.

Nancy Mary Michelle Gogain had been sentenced to 36 months probation in Lake County Court after pleading no contest Nov. 3, 2014 to charges of dealing in stolen property and falsification of ownership to a pawn broker. She was also ordered to pay fines and court costs of $1,090, according to Lake County Court files.

She had been being held at the Sumter County Detention Center and was transported this past weekend to the Lake County Jail.

She is due back in Lake County Court on Feb. 21.
