A man claiming to be a “Rainbow Person” was arrested Monday night after he tried to enter cars at a home in Ocklawaha.

Marion County sheriff’s deputies were called at about 10 p.m. to a home on South Highway 314A after 31-year-old Joshua Benjamin Hill was spotted by the homeowner looking into cars. Hill then tried to enter the home, according to an arrest report.

Hill refused to cooperate with deputies and would not give his name, identifying himself only as a “Rainbow Person.” Hill began to get aggressive with the deputies and had to be forced into the back of a patrol car.

Hill was taken to West Marion Community Hospital where he was medically cleared and then booked at the Marion County Jail on charges of loitering/prowling and resisting an officer.
