63-year-old man dies days after motorcycle accident in Marion County

A 63-year-old man has died days after a motorcycle accident in Marion County.

Victor B. Lewis of Silver Springs was pronounced dead at Ocala Regional Medical Center following the March 29 accident at State Road 40 at SE 176th Avenue, according to an accident report from the Florida Highway Patrol.

Lewis had been riding a custom Harley-Davidson at 5:23 p.m. March 29.

He had been stopped at a stop sign when he was struck by a vehicle driven by 90-year-old Dorothy Hogan also of Silver Springs. She and a passenger, 92-year-old Albert York of Silver Springs, escaped injury in the collision.
