A 25-year-old Villages resident is being held without bond at the Sumter County Detention on a probation violation. She was booked at the jail on Tuesday.

Nancy Mary Michelle Gogain had been sentenced to 36 months probation in Lake County Court after pleading no contest Nov. 3, 2014 to charges of dealing in stolen property and falsification of ownership to a pawn broker. She was also ordered to pay fines and court costs of $1,090, according to Lake County Court files.

She had also been arrested on charges of burglary and petit theft in Sumter County in 2014, but those charges were later dropped.

She was cited by Umatilla police in 2014 for attaching a tag to a vehicle to which it had not been assigned.
