Police report significant rise in speeding and aggressive driving

The Lady Lake Police Department has observed a significant rise in speeding and aggressive driving as completion nears in the lengthy project to expand U.S. Hwy. 27/441.

In response to this concerning rise in dangerous driving, police have ramped up traffic enforcement, conducting over 350 traffic stops in July.

Police said officers are “committed to balancing citations and warnings effectively while addressing these traffic concerns.”
