Rita Kaye Ling

Rita Kaye Ling (Hoskins) passed at home under hospice care on October 18, 2023. Kaye was born in Harlan, Kentucky on September 7, 1954 moving to Detroit at the age of 12 where she finished middle school and graduated from Western High.

She married Don, the love of her life, on April 14, 1989 and happily took on the role of Mother to Jeremy and Rebecca. She later returned to school and became and RN working 25 years as an ER Nurse.

Kaye was preceded in death by her parents Juanita Hoskins (Dotson) and Milard Hoskins. She is survived by Don, her husband of 34 years, older brother Otis and younger siblings Gail, Freddy and Eddie and many other beloved family members.

A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
