Construction worker airlifted after accident at site in The Villages

A construction worker was airlifted after an accident at a site in The Villages.

The worker was flown to Ocala Regional Medical Center on Monday morning after a roof truss collapsed at a house under construction at Meggison Road and Roudell Way in the Villages of Southern Oaks. The Villages Public Safety Department responded to the scene.

His injuries did not seem to be life-threatening.
