A Lady Lake man in a golf cart was nabbed with THC oil and a vape pen.

Nicholas Keith Miller, 29, had been traveling in a blue Yamaha golf cart at about 9:30 p.m. Wednesday near HarborChase of Villages Crossing when he failed to come to a complete stop at an intersection, according to an arrest report from the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office. When a deputy approached the golf cart, the “strong odor” of marijuana was detected.

A search of the golf cart turned up THC oil and a vape pen.

Miller was arrested on a felony charge of drug possession and a misdemeanor charge of possession of drug equipment. He was booked at the Sumter County Detention Center and released after posting $3,000 bond.
