Daniel List

Daniel L. List, age 73, of The Villages, Florida passed away on Tuesday, November 21, 2019.  Dan was a child of God and a member of New Covenant United Methodist Church.

He is survived by the love of his life Ruby List. He is also survived by his daughters Dawn and Danielle; grandchildren Beth Buchanan Eldridge (Bryan), Harleigh Bates, Bradley Hood, Austin Bates and Tyler Bates; step-brothers Larry and Pete List.

He was preceded in death by his grandchildren Rebecca and Tony; step son Gary Buchanan.

Dan graduated from Conneaut Lake High school in 1964 and worked at McKee Foods as an independent distributor, regional manager and division manager.

Dan and Ruby moved to The Villages, Florida in 2000. He was an athlete and enjoyed playing softball, golf, and even basketball.  Not only did he play, he also managed the Marlins softball team. He was the leader for the multiple myeloma support group in The Villages.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 23, 2019, at 1 pm, located at New Covenant United Methodist Church, 3470 Woodridge Dr, The Villages, FL 32162.
