Marie Guida

Marie Mae (Provenzano) Guida 85, passed away on August 28, 2019 with her two sons beside her at the Hospice of Marion County Legacy House after a short illness.

She was actively employed by Publix Supermarket where she enjoyed her time working and meeting new people. She especially enjoyed visiting and spending time with her family and friends.

Funeral Mass by Fr. Dominik Libiszewski, will be at 10:00 AM on Monday, September 16, 2019 at St. Mark the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, 7081 SE HWY 42, Summerfield, FL 34491. Burial will be private.

Marie was born in Brooklyn, New York on June 25, 1934, the daughter of the late Salvatore and Maria Provenzano. She met her late husband, Mario Guida, who served in the U.S. Navy on a blind date and married on June 1, 1957. They celebrated 56 years of marriage at the time of his death.

Marie is preceded in death by her mother and father, Maria and Salvatore Provenzano, her husband, Mario Guida Jr., and her daughter Patricia Levesque.

Marie is survived by her sons, Mario Guida III (Ocala Florida) and Kenneth Salvatore Guida, her son-in-law, Troy Davis (Macon, Georgia), brother and sister-in-law, Jack & Jean Provenzano (Connecticut), sister and brother-in-law, Linda & Charles Karayeanes (New York) , five grandchildren, Nicholas and Kristin Levesque, Mario, Tiffany and Anthony Guida, and four great grandchildren, Nicholas, Christopher, Lily and Enzo, as well as her many loving nieces and nephews.

Bozo the Clown letter was completely unnecessary
