A diner’s car was damaged while she was eating out at a local restaurant.
The woman had parked her 2015 Volkswagen Jetta between 7:20 and 9:15 p.m. Aug. 9 at Texas Roadhouse on U.S. Hwy. 27/441 in Lady Lake. When she came out of the restaurant she noticed that someone who had attempted to pry open the driver’s side door, according to an incident report from the Lady Lake Police Department. The damage was estimated between $500 and $1,000.
No other cars in the parking lot appeared to have been damaged.
