Boil order lifted for thousands of Villagers from Sunday’s loss of pressure

A precautionary boil water order has been lifted for thousands of Villagers who were impacted by Sunday’s sudden water outage.

The loss of water pressure was experienced by residents from County Road 466A all the way down to Brownwood. A failure at a pump station was to blame.

Residents are reminded to allow water to run for five minutes at each tap to flush the lines with safe water. The first bin of dropped ice from the refrigerator should also be discarded.
