Hope Lutheran invites area residents to enjoy free ‘End of Summer Celebration’

Hope Lutheran Church is gearing up for the “biggest community party of the season.”

Area residents are being encouraged to bring their entire families to the “End of Summer Celebration” at the Hope Lutheran Church Lake Weir Campus. The event is being held Aug. 3 from 1-5 p.m. and the church will provide free food and entertainment.

Hope Lutheran Church’s Lake Weir Campus will host an ‘End of Summer Celebration’ on Aug. 3 from 1-5 p.m. The campus is located at 10495 SE Sunset Harbor Rd. in Summerfield.

The event will feature games, crafts, bingo, face painting, raffles and door prizes, music by the lake and much more, Many local restaurants will be on hand to offer kids’ meal vouchers, coupons and photo opportunities with mascots. And kids will receive free haircuts and “Swag Bags.”

Admission to the event is free and no tickets are necessary. Guests will be invited to register upon arrival. And attendees are encouraged to RSVP to the End of Summer Celebration event on Hope Lutheran’s Facebook page by clicking HERE.

The celebration will be a way for residents of Summerfield, Ocala and the northern portion of The Villages to come together for one last party before area children return to school. The church hopes to provide a safe, exciting event where families and seniors can gather as one community for an afternoon of fun.

Additionally, guests will be able to take tours of the church and learn about different ministry and volunteer opportunities. Area residents also will hear about important support resources, including the Hope Lake Weir Campus Food Pantry.
