Residents need information about flying the flag

To the Editor:

Having lived in The Villages for over 13 years, I have noticed that hundreds of our residents, if not thousands, fly our nation’s flag on poles in our yards or attached to our homes.
I have seen some flying at half staff and others at full mast at the same time or day.
I would like to suggest that your website insert the status of the flag (half staff or fully raised) each day.
