Villages Theatre Company kicks off Fruitland Park’s ‘Project Generosity’ campaign

The Villages Theatre Company recently presented a large donation to Bless Fruitland Park.

Members of The Villages Theatre Company recently presented a check for $3,000 to Operation Bless Fruitland Park.

The group of Villagers gave the organization $3,000 to kick off this year’s “Project Generosity” campaign, which raises money for Fruitland Park Elementary School.

Last year, the Bless Fruitland Park team, which consists of residents, church leaders, business owners, school employees and civic groups, collected $22,000. And in the past five years, they have raised and distributed more than $75,000 in cash and resources to benefit the local school.

Generosity Week will be held Aug. 10-17. To make a donation or for more information, contact Amy painter at (352) 516-2812 or amy.painter@cruiseplanners.com.
