Too much doom and gloom

To the Editor:

Enjoy your life.  Love your neighbor.  Embrace diversity.  You only live once is very true.
see so many comments that indicate negative thoughts and advice.  Doctors that tell you what they believe you MUST do to have a fruitful life.  I (at 70 plus) still live by the saying don’t worry, be happy.
Recent dooms day posts:
The Villages will be a ghost town in 10 years.
Crime is going up in The Villages.
Eating red meat will kill you.
Age discrimination. That’s a show stopper.
Too many Villagers are drunks.
And 100 more negative thoughts.
We’re old, let the kids take over, it’s there world now.  Play more and stop listening to the smallest group in The Villages. Dooms day Villagers are very few, but seem to have the biggest mouth.  I’m just saying, don’t throw away the last chapter of your life on worry.
