Pair of golf courses in The Villages will be closed for heavy core aeration

Two executive golf courses in The Villages will be closed Friday, March 22 and Saturday, March 23 for heavy core aeration and sanding.

The Bogart Executive Golf Course and the Tarpon Boil Executive Golf Course will be impacted.

This is a planned program to ensure quality conditions. While every effort will be made to ensure smoothness, expect a 14- to 21-day recovery cycle and plan your tee times accordingly. Along with this core aeration, there will be additional re-grassing in small areas.

If you have any questions or need additional information on this transition, contact District Executive Golf Maintenance at 674-1885.
