Orange Blossom Gardens Lions Club invites residents to Music, Movie & Show Trivia

The Orange Blossom Gardens Lions Club will host Music, Movie & Show Trivia on Friday March 8 to raise money for its charitable causes. Tickets are $5. People will play in teams of six. Reservations can be taken for teams of six or individuals can sign up and they will be placed with others to make a team.

“We encourage people to come out for a fun night,” said Judy Kohn, president of the OBG Lions Club. “They will have a good time and while doing so will help us raise money to continue our efforts of helping those that are less fortunate.”

The club supports many charities, including Operation Homebound. They also concentrate on eye care, helping those that can’t afford it get glasses and needed cataract surgery.

“One hundred percent of the money we take in goes out to our charitable causes,” said Kohn.

The event will be held at La Hacienda Recreation Center. Start time is 6:30 p.m. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. Food, sodas and desserts will be available for purchase. Participants are welcome to bring their own beverages.

“We will have prizes, gift baskets, lottery board and 50/50 raffles,” said Kohn.

To purchase tickets or for more information, contact Kohn at (734) 625-2747.
