Cody McCoy

Cody Ryan McCoy, 31, passed away Sunday, February 17, 2019 in Ocala, Florida. He was a member of Memorial Baptist Church of Belleview, FL and he enjoyed fishing and playing pool. Cody was very humble and caring and he loved to help people.

He is survived by son: Darion McCoy of Ocala, FL; father: Jim McCoy (Katrina) of Mayer, AZ; mother: Tiffany Lucas (Cory) of Hickory, NC; brothers: Garrett McCoy of Ocala, FL, Austin Lucas of West Palm Beach, FL; grandmother: Barbara Jennings of Lake Panasoffkee, FL; best friend: Jessica Adam; stepsister: Asia Struke; uncles and aunts: John. D. McCoy (Sandra) of FL, Becky Kolozsy (Lee) of Dunnellon, FL, Troy Jennings of Lake Panasoffee, FL, Tina Cheek (Rick) of Yalaha, FL, Theresa Fender (Harvey) of Bushnell, FL; great uncle: Danny (Gladys) McCoy of Webster, FL; cousins: Christina, Jessica Lena, Whitney, Sean and Jennifer; and many loving nieces and nephews and extended family members. He was preceded in death by: paternal grandparents: James and Fay McCoy; maternal grandfather: Gary Jennings and aunt: Kay McCoy.

A time of visitation will be held on Thursday, February 21, 2019 from 5:00 to 7:00 at Purcell Chapel. A service will be held on Friday, February 22, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. in Purcell Chapel with Pastor Alan Baldwin officiating. Interment will follow at Garden of Memories.
