John Love

John Love

John Love, 62, of Summerfield, FL, passed away on Friday, November 30, 2018 at UF Health Shands Hospital in Gainesville.

Mr. Love and his brother Sam are co-owners and operators of Loves Landing, an airpark in Weirsdale. He graduated from the University of Florida where he was a member of Alpha Gamma Rho. He was an avid fisherman and hunter and loved to travel, but his true passion was flying. He was most recently involved in the Society of Real Estate Appraisers, Society of Realtors, a Master Gardner, and the Experimental Aircraft Association. He was a member of the Church of Christ.

Survivors include his brother and sister-in-law Sam and Kay Love; nephews Drew (Jessica) and Sam (Nicole) Love; 3 grand-nephews and 2 grand-nieces. He was preceded in death by his parents Samuel and Jerrelyn Love.

Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, December 7, 2018 at Greenwood Cemetery in Weirsdale. A visitation will be held on Thursday from 6 – 8 p.m. at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, The Villages, 1511 Buenos Aires Blvd, The Villages.
