Woman sought in theft of merchandise at Wal-Mart at Buffalo Ridge Plaza

A Sumter County sheriff’s detective is hoping members of the public will help identify a suspect who took three tote bags of merchandise from Wal-Mart at Buffalo Ridge Plaza in The Villages.

The woman entered the store at about 6:30 a.m. Aug. 2 and left with the stolen items. She fled the area as a passenger in a white Mazda with no license plate.

This woman is suspected in the theft of merchandise from Wal-Mart at Buffalo Ridge Plaza in The Villages.
