Florida Highway Patrol asking for help from witnesses to crash

The Florida Highway Patrol is asking for help from witnesses to a recent crash on County Road 316.

The accident took place around 12:30 p.m. April 12 when the driver lost control of his vehicle and slammed into a tree. Several people witnessed the crash and stopped to help remove the injured driver from the mangled wreckage before taking him to Orlando Regional Medical Center for treatment.

FHP officials are asking for help in identifying those involved. Anyone with information is encouraged to call Corp. Shane Crawford at (352) 512-6642 or email him at richardcrawford@flhsmv.gov.
