Golf cart driver ticketed after crashing into landscaper’s trailer in Village of Collier

A golf cart driver blinded by the morning sun crashed into a landscaper’s trailer in the Village of Collier.

The accident happened at 7:30 a.m. Saturday at the intersection of Evans Prairie Trail and Queensway Terrace.

The golf cart crashed into a landscaper’s trailer in the Village of Collier.

The driver said he did not see the landscaper’s trailer because of the bright sunshine. There had been four orange cones set up near the trailer which was parked in the street.

The man suffered abrasions to his face but did not require a trip to the hospital.

He was ticketed on a charge of careless driving.

The golf cart was towed from the scene by Kart Aide.
