Villagers party in honor of Mardi Gras

The green, purple, and gold beads were strung around necks as far as the eye could see, and the beer tent lines were packed as Villagers flooded Spanish Springs for the first Mardi Gras celebration in The Villages.

The streets were lined with cajun-themed treats and the entertainment for the evening sang bayou favorites much to the crowd’s delight.

The Villages Twirlers and Drum Corps was on hand and we were there to capture it all!
