Shoppers head to new Lowe’s at Trailwinds Village

Shoppers found a full parking lot as the new Lowe’s  opened for it’s first day of business at Trailwinds Village on County Road 466A.

The Lowe’s home improvement store opened on Thursday.

The store’s main building is 103,000 square feet with an attached 37,000-square-foot garden center. The new Lowe’s will anchor a retail and office complex which will include an ABC wine and spirits store and an Aldi’s grocery store. A Circle K gas station is also being constructed at that location.

Customers checked out vendors in the parking lot at Lowe’s.

The new Lowe’s is open from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sundays.
