Martha Louise Kusmich, 87, of Leesburg, FL, passed away Tuesday, May 9, 2017. She was born June 12, 1929 to Robert and Ruby King in Miami, Florida. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Leesburg where she enjoyed singing in the choir. Mrs. Kusmich was a lifetime member of the DAV, Gold Star Wives of America. She enjoyed needlepoint, crocheting and knitting and she liked to travel. She also enjoyed volunteering at LRMC, the Community Medical Care Center, the polls, and her church. She was predeceased by her husband, Stephen Kusmich.

She is survived by her daughters: Nadia Tucker of Atlanta, GA, Stephanie Kusmich of Leesburg, FL, and Kathryn Kusmich of Sugar Land, TX; and her granddaughter, Kristene Pagano of New York, NY.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in her memory to First Baptist Church, 220 N. 13th St., Leesburg, FL 34748.

A time of visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 16, 2016 from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at Purcell Chapel. A graveside service will follow at 2 p.m. at Florida National Cemetery, with Pastor Gary Blanchard officiating.
