Allen R. Tice

Allen R. Tice, age 85, of Summerfield, FL, passed away April 12, 2017.

Born in Winegar (Presque Isle), WI he was a proud veteran of the US Navy. He worked as a civilian with US Army Corps of Engineers for 33 years in Hanover, NH. He was the beloved husband of Gladys Tice. He is also survived by three children; Michael, Terry and Deborah; three step-children Rick, Kerry and Mark; eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren; siblings, David, C. Michael and Carol Monson.

Allen was predeceased by his first wife, Irene and brother Eugene Tice.

Visitation will be Monday, April 17, 2017 from 6 – 8 p.m. at the Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, The Villages. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 18, 2017, at 11 a.m. in Silver Springs Shores Presbyterian Church, 674 Silver Road, Ocala, FL. Committal services will be held at a later date in Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests a contribution to the Shriner’s Children’s Hospital Tampa, FL, 2900 Rocky Point Drive, Tampa, FL 33607-1460.
