Cars burglarized in broad daylight at Buffalo Glen Softball Complex

Four vehicles were burglarized in broad daylight at Buffalo Glen Softball Complex.

Windows of the vehicles were broken between 1 and 2 p.m. Sunday. Items taken included wallets, cell phones and other personal items, including Villages ID cards.

Sumter County sheriff’s deputies were called to the softball complex at 305 Tatonka Terrace shortly before 2 p.m. Sunday.

The investigation into the car burglaries is ongoing, according to the sheriff’s office.
