George A. Dyer Sr.

George A. Dyer, Sr., 76, of The Villages, Florida, passed away after a long illness on Sunday, March 19, 2017. George was born in Cincinnati, Ohio to the late Charles and Lena (Sims) Dyer. George attended OMI Military Preparatory School in Cincinnati. After high school George served 4 years in the United States Air Force. He worked 25 years for the Pipefitters Union 392 in Cincinnati and later retired after 18 years with GM.

George is survived by his loving wife of 48 years Barbara; son George A. Dyer (Melissa) of Waco, TX; daughter Yvonne Sweeney of Charleston, SC; grandchildren Sara, Brandon and Patrick Sweeney (Ashley).

The family will have a private memorial at a later time.
