Villages GOP president caught up in Navy scandal an elitist who never supported Trump

Many of you have by now likely have seen the arrest yesterday of David Lausman, who is serving as the Sumter County Republican Party president. The article mentions that  he has been named as a defendant as “part of a corrupt team that worked together to trade Navy secrets for sex parties,” according to the U.S. Department of Justice.  If you have not seen the article, you can access it by going to: http://villages-news.com/villager-caught-salacious-navy-scandal/.

David, along with many others, have demonstrated that they work at the pleasure of The Villages Developer and many of the contractors of The Developer. Many of you have received numerous communications from me in the past on specific examples of issues that appear to not be on the up and up, and perhaps even fraud, corruption or worse.

These same “elite group of people” were against the candidacy of Donald Trump, and even as the Republican nominee, many would not support him. I am aware that in the neighboring county of Lake, the true independent conservatives have taken over the Republican Party. I ask, is now the time for the true conservatives of The Villages to come together to take control? Do you think we could unite and make a run? Do you think we could find people that would make a one year commitment to serve on the Executive Committee to launch such a run?

I believe the same issues that are being faced by Trump in D.C. are happening both in our state and in our county.  The elites are battling hard to keep their positions of power. I say, let’s fire them and have true American Patriots lead the way. If you agree, please give me your thoughts on what you will do to lead the cause. Respond to Bill Garner at garneru@aol.com.
