Villages Theatre Company presents ‘Anybody for Tea’ as part of TwoBuck Tuesday

The Villages Theatre Company will be presenting “Anybody for Tea” at 11:45 a.m Tuesday, Dec. 13 at Mulberry Grove Recreation Center. This play is part of their The Villages Theatre Company series. The $2 tickets can be purchased at the door starting at 11 a.m.

Seating is limited and on a first come, first served basis. A Villages ID or guest pass is required.

“Anybody for Tea” is a comedy/mystery thriller by C.B. Gilford. The play centers around the murder investigation of an elderly woman being conducted by a detective who is unknowingly the heart’s desire of six ladies who are connected with this murder and neighbors of the bachelor detective. To lure him to visit, they stage a homicide, but to keep him around, they must do it again.

TwoBuck Tuesday plays are part of a teaching workshop series offering learning experience for the directors, actors and back stage crews as well. Running time is about 30 minutes. A brief question and answer session will be held after the performance.
