A Village of Polo Ridge couple’s daughter was jailed on $10,000 after she was caught behind the wheel of a car.

Lindsay Scott, 36, who lives with her parents on Atwell Avenue, was pulled over at 1:22 a.m. Wednesday after making a left turn on a red light on U.S. Hwy. 27/441, according to an arrest report from the Lady Lake Police Department.

She told the officer she did not have her driver’s license with her, had just dropped off a friend and was lost, the arrest report indicated. However, the officer discovered that Scott’s license had been canceled indefinitely on April 30, 2014 stemming from a previous driving under the influence.

She was booked at the Lake County Jail.
