The Day-Break Club celebrated Memorial Day on Tuesday at Odell Recreation Center.

The group had a flag ceremony by Vietnam Veterans Honor Guard, exercised, snacked on red, white and blue cookies. Day-Breakers made a Lincoln star pendants out of foam stars and danced to patriotic accordion music by Jim Olsen.

The club is offered on Tuesday afternoons at Odell Recreation Center. The program offers a place where caregivers can leave their special needs charges while they enjoy a little respite time. The wildly popular program has a waiting list.
