District hopes to fast track repairs to bridge at Glenview

The District is attempting to fast track repairs to the bridge on the multi-modal path leading to Glenview Country Club.

Sam Wartinbee of District Property Management made that pledge at Welcome Wednesday at the District Office in Lake Sumter Landing. No specific timeline was offered.

Community Development District 3 Supervisor Gail Lazenby suggested signage that might indicate that golf carts are temporarily sharing the roadway with automobile traffic as part of the detour.

He said he had recently golfed at Glenview, and received some quizzical looks when he was driving his golf cart on the roadway leading to the country club.
