Villages looking for annexation of five more sites on Historic Side

The Villages is removing five more mobile homes on the Historic Side, replacing them with site-built homes and looking to annex them into the Town of Lady Lake.

The Villages’ proposal will be heard Monday evening by the Lady Lake Planning & Zoning Board.

The homes are located at:

• 1026 Aloha Way

• 803 Aloha Way

• 815 Royal Palm Avenue

• 817 Royal Palm Avenue

• 811 Truman Avenue

You can see the homes here:

This continues a revitalization effort that has been hailed as a “win win” situation for the Town of Lady Lake and The Villages. The revitalization effort is bringing homes out of the “enclaves,” where they are located in Lake County, and bringing them into Lady Lake. With the annexation, the town will benefit from increased tax revenue. You can read more about the history of the enclaves HERE.

The Lady Lake Planning & Zoning Board will meet at 5:30 p.m. Monday at Lady Lake Town Hall.
