To the Editor:
The permit for pumping water from the aquifers should be postponed indefinitely until a good geological study can be made. The problem is not drinking water, it is sinkholes!
This is a precarious sinkhole area already. The usage will drop the levels of water in the aquifer. Water usage of that volume cannot be good for sinkholes.
Every civic and governmental organization, including every CDD, every elected CDD representative, and every concerned citizen should write the county (or whomever) protesting this usage.
