A man arrested in 2014 after attempting to beat up a man and woman at Burger King on Bichara Boulevard in The Villages, has been jailed again.

Christopher Brian Martin, 29, of Summerfield, was booked Saturday at the Lake County Jail following his arrest by Leesburg police on charges of retail theft and trespassing. He was being held on $3,000 bond.

Martin was taken into custody June 5, 2014, on Tarrson Boulevard on the Historic Side of The Villages, the day after the incident at Burger King.

On June 24, 2014 in Lake County Court, Martin pleaded guilty to two charges of battery. He was sentenced by Judge James R. Baxley to 29 days in jail.
