A 26-year-old Lady Lake man was arrested after he allegedly gave his live-in girlfriend a black eye.
Joshua Lee Collins of 2948 Temple Hill Road was arrested Wednesday by Lake County sheriff’s deputies on Lake Unit Road in Fruitland Park after a witness told them she had seen Collins blacken the victim’s eye.
Collins was arrested on a charge of domestic battery. Deputies discovered that Collins was already on probation for possession of a controlled substance.
He was booked without bond at the Lake County Jail.
He is due for arraignment July 28 in Lake County Court.
