Two men were arrested after a dispute early Thursday morning on Skycrest Boulevard in Fruitland Park.

Lake County sheriff’s deputies arrived at the scene of the dispute just after midnight and observed six people arguing.

The victims said 35-year-old Corey T. McKinnie of Fruitland Park had threatened them with a brick, according to an arrest report from the sheriff’s office. They also said 29-year-old Jake Mixon of Leesburg had pushed one of the victims, poked him in the face and threatened him with balled-up fists. A search of Mixon turned up a pair of brass knuckles, the arrest report indicated.

The victims said the pair had come to their residence to threaten them.

Mixon was jailed on charges of simple battery, carrying a concealed weapon and violation of probation on a charge of possession of marijuana. His bond was set at $2,000.

McKinnie was booked on charges of aggravated assault and violation of his probation on cocaine charges. He was jailed on $6,000 bond.
