A 27-year-old Oxford man wearing only boxer shorts was arrested Sunday night in the parking lot of Cody’s Original Roadhouse at Lake Sumter Landing.
A woman contacted law enforcement to report a man urinating in the parking lot and exposing himself to her children. Sumter County sheriff’s deputies arrived on scene at about 10 p.m. and found Beau Ryan Brown sleeping on the hood of a car in the parking lot.
His shorts were down around his ankles, his shirt had been removed and he was only wearing boxer shorts, according to the arrest report. When deputies asked why he was not wearing pants, Brown responded, “I think I had too much to drink.”
A search revealed that Brown was in possession of marijuana and a pipe for smoking marijuana.
A criminal history check revealed Brown had no prior record.
He was arrested on charges of indecent exposure, possession of marijuana and possession of drug equipment. He was booked at the Sumter County Detention Center on $3,000 bond.
