A Lake County sheriff’s deputy has been stationed at the intersection of County Road 466A and Micro Racetrack Road as traffic is down to one-lane for construction.
Flagmen are in place to guide the traffic as work continues on the Villages of Fruitland Park.
Delays of up to 20 minutes have been reported by drivers in the area at peak hours.
The flagmen are expected to be in place over the next several days.
The Villages is building about 2,000 new homes on the site of the old Pine Ridge Dairy.
