Barbara Ann (Daly) Lucas

Barbara Ann (Daly) Lucas, 77, passed away Wednesday, December 3, 2014. She was born in Jersey City, New Jersey. She was resident of Sayreville, NJ for 45 years. Barbara was a registered nurse at Raritan Bay Medical Center in Perth Amboy, NJ. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She came to The Villages in 2000 from Sayreville, NJ. Barbara enjoyed golf, playing cards, and shopping.

She was predeceased by her husband Robert, and her parents John and Evelyn Daly. Surviving are her six children and their spouses Robert of Seattle, WA., Lynn and John Malcoyannis of Lagonisi Greece, John & Mabel of Freehold, NJ., Kelly & Richard Chartier of Sayreville, NJ., Glenn & Rebecca of Red Bank, NJ., and Richard of Bel Air, MD., her 13 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Monday, December 8, 2014 at Heirs-Baxley Funeral Services, The Villages from 1:00pm. – 4:00pm. A mass will be held on Tuesday, December 9th at 10 am. at St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church, Summerfield. Interment will follow at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the St. Vincent de Paul Society of St. Mark the Evangelist Church.
