Prime Time Twirlers gearing up for pair of local parade performances

The Prime Time Twirlers were out practicing at Lake Sumter Landing Market Square on Tuesday morning, keeping their talents sharp for their numerous upcoming performances.

The Prime Time Twirlers will be performing in two upcoming parades .

First, they will march in the Wildwood Christmas Parade at 3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 6.

The following week, the Prime Time Twirlers will perform in the Christmas parade at The Villages polo fields at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 13.

During their practice session Tuesday morning, plenty of onlookers stopped to cheer on the twirlers and snap pictures.

The group practiced routines to some holiday classics like “Jingle Bell Rock.”

“We love performing and this is an inspiring time of year,” said Elin Jones, leader of the Prime Time Twirlers.
