Change announced in Lake Xpress route connecting The Villages

The Lake County Transportation Division has announced a minor change to the LakeXpress route that connects The Villages to Eustis.

Route 1, which runs from The Villages to Eustis via U.S. Hwy. 27/441, will shift slightly in the Eustis area to better serve Orange Avenue (State Road 44). Rather than using Clifford Avenue to reach State Road 19, the bus will provide service on Cardinal Avenue to Orange Avenue and State Road 19.

The change will take effect on Monday, Dec. 1.
