On Sunday, October 19th, the third and final day of The Villages Softball Championship Tournament, the SRO crowd was treated to more great competition. The Talon Wealth Management 50+ Silver team representing The Villages and featuring the Canseco twins, Jose and Ozzie, took the title with a 27-13 downing of C&M Softball. Villager and team member, Donnie Meyer, was not able to play due to full knee replacement surgery, but he coached. Donnie said: “The team is all Villagers except for the Cansecos and Joe Hargrove. Jose and Ozzie have been great additions. Once they got to know the guys, they were laid back and had fun.”
