Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi is coming to The Villages on Monday.
She will be visiting the Gov. Rick Scott Campaign office at Lake Sumter Landing.
She will be there at 2:30 p.m.
Like Scott, Bondi is in the midst of a re-election bid.
Bondi is touting a record of shutting down pill mills in Florida and cracking down on human trafficking.
However, Bondi has angered members of the LGBT community by fighting to uphold the state’s ban on gay marriage. She contends she’s only defending Florida’s constitution.
Bondi, 48, was a prosecutor for more than 18 years in Hillsborough County before being elected attorney general in 2010.
Bondi faces Democrat George Sheldon. Polls have consistently shown Bondi with a comfortable lead over her opponent.
