Marion County Sheriff’s Office detectives are asking for the public’s help in locating a suspect in a burglary Monday at a Belleview home.

The burglary took place between 8:40 and 8:55 a.m. Monday at a home along S.E. 50th Avenue Road in  Belleview.

Security photos and video clearly show a white male, early to mid-30s, short dark hair and a full beard that appeared trimmed.

“The subject appeared to be of average height, 180 to 200 pounds, wearing a royal blue shirt that appeared to have the image of a fish on the back and light colored blue jeans,” said Judge Cochran, Marion County Sheriff’s Office public information officer. Also, the suspect has tattoos on his left forearm.

The suspect left and returned to the home. Upon his second visit, the suspect was wearing a camouflage shirt and a dark fabric (possibly a towel) on his head.
